WHY IS IT I RUN A TECH QUESTION PAST EVERYBODY ON SCOOBYNET AND HEAR NOTHING YET I RUN THE SAME QUESTION ON SIDC AND GET 8 REPLIES ??????????????????????????????????????????

because it's christmas and I think the usual suspects that answer the 'overboost question' are probably tired of doing so.

Yes your car is overboosting, possibly because of the decat, and you can quite possibly fix it by using a different restrictor in the boost solenoid plumbing or even an adjustable valve (I don't mean a bleed valve).

Could be just because there is no-one about at the time to answer you questions. A few BTT's every few days would never do any harm.

I'd prefer to get no answer than get some fool give me the wrong advice, which can easily happen (comments like "durrr sounds like the MAF mate" spring to mind). The last thing you want is to fork out £70 only to find the problem is duff spark plugs!

Unfortunatly, without hearing / testing a car with bad running in person. It is almost impossible to pin point a specific fault, unless there are blatantly obvious syptoms. Same goes for many other problems.
