If you have read my other thread on STEAM FROM ENGINE i have another question...

At the front of the engine attatched to the alternator is a BLACK male and female connector, is this meant to be connected or loose, as i may have caaught it whilst i was fitting the new coolant pipe att he back of the engine. You have to press the little lever down to get the male and female to part, cant remember if its meant to be conencted or is used for some fault test etc etc?

Cheers

Adrian

You might find that it is the connector for AirCon, if you have no Aircon installed the wiring is still there.

P.s. the only connectors for the alternator are the large grey plug and the power lead which is an 'eye' connector.
