As the above....
Strange cut out when I floor it past 5500 rpm, then OK, then cuts out again and again. Feels strange and is scaring me to bits.
What could be wrong? Anyone out there !!!
It started doing this about 4 weeks ago. Then it stopped for a while and now it's back. What do I do/check ?

STI type RA (1996), full decat, HKS induction kit, some internal mods (forged pistons ect). Running on Shell Optimax. Like I said, never had this problem in the past. Could it be a dirty waste gate solenoid valve ???
