Think its the heater matrix. Check your engine coolant level.

RT, where's the heated matrix?

Is it up behind the dash, sort of behind the glove-box?

Does it look a little like a UFO?

There seems to be a little leak from around this area.

Thanx for the ideas chaps, windscreen would appear to be a replacement.

Skoosh, still bloody soaking and I mean soaking wet!!!!!

I didn't physically check mine myself, my mechanic did. So unfortunately I can't tell you exactly what it looks like. What it does is to allow engine coolant into the passenger compartment, so that the heater has a source of heat to blow hot air.

Mine had a trickle leak, detected by the odour of coolant in the cabin. On investigation, found the pax footwell a little wet. Since we don't use heaters here in the tropics, we simply "short circuited" the water supply so that it didn't pass through the matrix anymore.

EDIT: Look in the engine bay at the firewall on the pax side. You should be able to see 2 coolant rubber tubes passing through into the cabin. This should lead to the heater matrix. Should help you in tracing exactly where it is.

Windscreen is probably where it is coming from - get someone to run a pressure washer around the edge of the screen while you check around under the dash with a torch.

You'll know if it's coolant, as it smells when it dries.

Cheers for replies guys, it is defo coolant as it goes foamy when I rub it ( steady ).

There's a slight leak under the dash from a round black thing (tech term).

No idea what it is, have you?

Skoosh.
