UK Turbo Wagon advice please?
#1
Hi all,
got a couple of questions....got a Wagon Turbo for sale and wanna make sure of a few things. Its just had a full engine recon, according to the bills, but when driving it, it feels gutless, to me anyway, just wanna make sure they've adjusted the Actuator correctly on reassembly. checked all hoses etc, ok.
Could someone tell me the correct settings, ie so many threads showing etc, and where the boost should start to kick in, cos I personally can't feel it much at all. Its a '94M estate..220bhp???
thanks.

If its just had a new engine then its going to be tight (inc a rebuild), they come with 208bhp and 199lbs of torque out of the box (pretty much).
The earlier models were more thuggish in their power delivery than the newer cars, you would get nothing and then bang, it would all come at once.
It takes time to suss a few bits out, just enjoy driving your new scoob and get use to the way the turbo works
