Exclamation

Hey Guys, I have a WRX STI 6 ! I have a problem with the BOOST in my car.

The problem is that sometimes i have 1.3 boost and sometimes i only have 0.8 boost on my gauge !

Has anyone ever had this kind of problem and what do you think this can be ?

Thanks
Mark

What RON fuel are you using?
I suspect that the ECU is detecting knock & is beyond its knock control limits, so is dropping the boost to protect the engine. The sti 6 I think would like 100RON, which may not be the stuff you get in Malta

I don't know what RON we have in Malta, maybe something like **** fuel i guess ! Its not 100RON for sure.

Its never done this before and i have had it for about 2 years now.
Maybe i will try to give it some PRO Boost Octane improver and see what happens?

Thanks
Mark

You could of just got a dodgy batch. Or the time of year (getting cooler) can just throw it over the edge & make the mix a little too lean.
A KnockLink might be an idea?
