dear friends can i use my subaru sti engine in nonturbo forester .any precautions to be taken ? is it better to shift with gear box or use forester gear box ,and shift subaru sti engine along with ecu? bye

Anand, thanks for the mention in the other post. You'll have no problems with any parts or the shell from us, we've been in business for over 20 years.

The Forester will accept the STi engine but you'll really need the wiring and ECU to see the benefit of it. A Forester is really an Impreza in a different body shape, so my opinion is that the wiring will transfer over with little in the way of big problems.
