Had my car on the rollers at Well Lane on Sat, Found out I have a fecked coil pack. Are all 4 coil packs the same & are the Uk & WRX the same ones ??

I know the coilpacks on my 95erk run across the top of the engine, but my friends run round the back...!!!!! same car different route, so i would think the lengths would be different

Pre97 should be all the same yes..
Dealer will charge you 50 notes each and GGR are a little cheaper I think.
You need to replace all four and they seem to last about 100k miles or 5 to 6years which ever comes sooner.. heat gets to them.
Suspect it was the coil pack nearest the turbo that has failed due to the heat but it would be worth replacing the other 3 at the same time.
I tried replacing just one, I didn't manage to replace the one with the problem on the first guess but the car ran so much better I replaced the other three too.
