Well looks like it's had to happen, my scoob's having to be locked away for a while.

Having never had to do this before I'm a bit wary of what to do? Are there any basic do's or don'ts that I should take into consideration??

Any info would be grateful, stroll on the £200 diesel XRV I've just bought!

Apart from the vague info you give as to what exactly you want to know, the only thing I can suggest for now is have you still got some form of insurance on the car, as you can still maintain a "garaged cover" for it, so will protect against theft/malicious damage.
If its anything else you need to know, please explain further.
