so, the F-i-L is after a console for the dash from which he can adjust the ECU map and/or boost pressure (he saw it on the Fast and the Furious and took a fancy)

is there anything on the market available to anyone's knowledge???

There are several boost controllers - usually Japanese - that do most if not more than your F-I L wants.

Search for GReddy, AVC (??) and HKS, and others I forget, all do these sort of gadgets, sems fairly straight forward to fit..
