Whats the best way to tell if my 1997 Civic is a vtec?

its not a VTi. i was sure when i bought the car it was not Vtec, but i have been advised differently. so now i think its about time i found out for definate.

im almost 100% sure all honda VTec engines have the badge on top

 

what spec model is it, it must be a 1.5litre

 

what spec model is it?, check these engine codes out for more eg15B
