Has anyone come across or got this problem the boost on my car wont go below 16psi even when we tie the waste gate fullly open the waste gate is fully open touching the exhaust the problem only occurd after fitting stainless decatted exhaust and a pipercross air filter

Sounds like your new downpipe or gasket is
blocking the flow from the wastegate into the exhaust. Is the new downpipe a twin one ? -
if so the dump pipe from the wastegate could
be blocked which would result in the
wastegate having no control of the boost.

thanks for the reply thought this was the problem as i only have a single downpipe looks like i will be buying a twin downpipe
