Question

I recently had a Dawes fitted and have been driving around for a couple of weeks without any problems (fitted when running on regular unleaded). Now I've run a couple of tanks of Optimax through the car I keeping hitting the fuel cut-off (only on WOT at approx 3500rpm). Is this a coincidence or would running on the higher octane fuel cause it? hmmm.

Could be -but may also be the switch to colder weather is giving you extra boost up to the fuel cut off.

Do you know what pressure the Dawes is currently set to?

Can't be sure what pressure it's running at as it was fitted by Powerstation on their rolling road using a temporary boost gauge.
I was told it was set at 1.1 bar peak but I'm guessing the higher octane fuel is giving me more boost. I think I'll give them a bell.
