Boring I know but mine is a stubborn so and so and Im having difficulty getting it off. Seen a spanner type one at halford £8.99 of a three pronged affair (fits to socket wrench) from machine mart about the same price.

Get a strap type wrench, normaly a spring steel type strap or nylon type strap are the best ones.

IMHO.If the filter has been fitted correctly, a wrench should not be needed.

Have to agree with Misty. The best oil filter wrench is your hand.

If you've got a stubborn one, any of the "band" ones should do the job.

get a sheet of sand paper sand side to the filter then use your hand. It works honest
