Right. Since I bought a pair of Sparco boots a week or so ago I've been completely unable to heel & toe in the integra. It took me ages to sort it out originally with a pair of trainers on, but finally I managed and was doing ok. However the sparco's are so narrow that I cant reach the throttle from the brake.

So I call up a couple of folk, one of which has raced integras to ask how they got on "no, I could never h&t in the integra either" was the reply. Stunning.

So my choices are

1. Throw the boots away and go back to trainers with larger sole area
2. Forget about h&t and just get used to dropping the clutch and having the anti-lock deal with the problem
3. Modify the throttle pedal so its a bit closer and higher to the brake

So - i'm inclined to check out number three first. Anyone know a machinist or a garage in London that would take on this kind of work ? Nothing fancy, just a aly box or some such fitted to the top of the pedal to raise it 1/2" and extend it left a 1/2"

Or has anyone been here before and thought of a more cunning approach ?

Ta.

Thumbs up

John,

You could try these people Reselco on 0208 847 4509,their main work is adapting cars for disabled people but they also do one off/fabrications and modifications as well.
Well worth a call in my opinion.
