Question

What benifits would i get if change the actuator in my STI4 Type R?
What exactly does an actuator do anyway?
If its a good idea to change it, what sort do i go for?

No need to uprate the actuator unless you fit a hybrid or modified turbo. What you have is fine with the standard VF24 turbo fitted to the car.
