Cool

Just done this!!

You'll need an anti tamper stardrive to undo the bolts behind the number plate...I got mine from Snap-On. Basically pop off all the plastic rivets along the top, remove fog lamps, indicators etc, there are two bolts just behind the front wheel liners at each side of the bumper and four more bolts in the front which are accessed underneath. Once you get into it you'll see, it's not too difficult!

Good luck,
Nito

Its a bit easier to just take off the whole front cross member which is attached with two 17mm bolts on each side, you only have to undo the bolts on the inner wing then and not the four on the front which I thought were *******s to get to, when its off its easier to seperate bumper from the cross member. Attaching new one to the cross member before refitting is easier away from the car as well. You have more play when lining the thing up. Either way works though .The hardest part I found was getting the number plate mounts off. As Nito says, you need an anti tamper star bit, I didn`t have one.

I tried using the garden wall the first week I had the car. D'Oh! You do seem to sit slightly lower than you do in the Golf.
