Have a scrapeing noise in the above area,One of my friends reckons its the wheel bearing,Anyone shed some light on this, The wheel isnt catching on anything nor are the brakes worn or rubbing,Any feedback mucho grateful........................

Need a bit more info really. Is it all the time, whilst braking, or at slow speeds, worse when cornering etc?

Things to check:

Rear brake pads - there is a audible wear indicator that catches the disc when the pads are at their minimum level

Handbrake - sometimes catches, - does the noise stop when you pull the handbrake slightly?
