Question

Couldn't find anything on search.
I have a knocklink and a bosch sensor, but no plastic connector to join the two. Can you attach the brown & black wires directly to the sensor, or do you need the plastic connector?
If you need it, where do you get it from?

Thanks.

I had the same problem HKP, if you get the small spade female terminals from Halfords or the like-they fit fine, doesn't matter which way round the two wires go.

Should be very easy to find a connector in a breakers. They are normally a std 2 pin mini timer plug, as used on most injectors, and a lot of other automotive sensors.
Or contact whoever suppplied the knocklink, as it should really have come with the plug.

HKP, the plastic connector, which I have not seen anyway, will only be to connect the wires to the internal terminals you can see in the sensor. The spade terminals do the same thing anyway-it would be worth insulating the spades terminals in case they try to touch each other. I have connected mine all up and it worked fine this morning.

rotten spelling again!

Just for future reference, Maplins sell a mini female spade-type connector which will fit, their part code for it is NP22AN, you get a bag of about 10... but of course the correct answer is to get the Mini Timer connector and do it right

Cheers,

Pat.
