Hi all, i've found a specialist who can make me up a TMIC for my 95ReX (slanty cooler) all he need is a rough drawing?

Idealy i'm after some diamentions, photos, info, from something like an APC top mount, or simular? saves us doing a couple of prototypes

We haven't finalised a price as yet, but he's already hinted at around the £300 mark

Just measure up how much space you have, your inlet and outlet pipes are fixed reference points, it's just a matter of measuring how much room you have in that part of the engine bay.

I'm told the MY97 and on "under scoop" things fit the older bonnets. May be worth looking at the dimentions of one.

I'm also interested in how this goes, as it could be a better way yo go for me than shoehorning a MY99 unit in there.

can i be trusted with a tape measure though

Hopefully if we get this right, it will be available to other Scoobynetters, the quility will be superb, you may have already seen some of his work (but not on Subarus,as yet)

This could be the first RiSKy racing product.

See here for some interesting TMIC info.

I have done some drawings for an uprated MY97-00 TMIC but haven't sent them off to anyone yet, drop me an email if you want any more info.

check these out, my car is amy94-wrx-sti-1, it had the single intake slant type, i modded a P1-TMIC, which has twin intake,s into to TMIC, and also it,s larger, WOW what a diff, totaly trans formed the car,

and the tmic before its fitted,

note the mod, to the alloy y section so it misses the bulk head,

note, this mod has brackets that fit to your original slant tmic, mounts

if you want info on how much this costs, thats a TMIC, of a P1 or an STI-5- or 6 ,and then all the mods and brackets, plus it is polished, as i get them done now and then ,sell them on scooby net, please e.mail me ok
regards mark
