Question

Drove to work this morning ,low fuel light came on I did 8 miles with the light on before i found a petrol stn , where I put in £10 worth of yucky NUL as no SUL available the guage moves up to 1/4 full but the little petrol pump remained alight!

Is it busted ? I turn the ignition on and off a few time but it came back upeach time.

Its a STI V5 if it makes any difference.

Hello mate

......sounds like you need to put some more in. You were probably very low. Mine comes on well early, still an 1/8 th of a tank to go. Then it goes out and then it comes back on some miles later...weird ! Does the petrol light flash when really low or once its on ,, thats it ????
