Bad start to the morning!
#1
Went out to the car this morning, bright and early, and VERY damp. It stands outside.
Anyway, when I turned it over it made a much different noise to normal, and didn't seem to be firing .
Best I can describe it, is that it went RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, rather than RRR.....RRR....RRRR....RRRR etc
It did that for about a minute of on and off trying, then RELUCTANTLY caught, almost as if it was flooded.
Any thoughts guys and gals?

Sounds like dying battery to me..
Starter motors seem very strong..
As it gets colder in the mornings it will get worse until it doesn't start.
Dealer will do a good one but will charge you loads..
Halfords will do a reasonable one and reasonablish price (usually where I end up when I have left it too long and need a battery yesterday)
Car parts Factors would do a reasonable one at a good price.. depending on where you go obviously.
IMHO
