22B body kit??
#5
Has anybody out there fitted a Scooby Mania 22b or STI v6 rear spoiler, if so does it use the same mounting holes from an early low spoiler and is the quality good ? Does it just need rubbing down and painting, or will it need bits of filler etc, any help is appreciated.
Cheers
Skip.

Roy,
If you after all the required parts to turn an Impreza into a 22B be prepared to shell out some serious cash, as I believe all the wings are aluminium!...oh and you need a coupe shell to start with (Type R?)
But I've heard a rumour (cant remember where...possibly on this bbs) that the final incarnation of the current Impreza will be a wide body...the P1 was originally supposed to be, but Prodrive ruled it out due to costly processes' involved with aluminium. So perhaps Prodrive are considering using steel instead!
If so then perhaps converting an Impreza into a wide body will become a bit more simple and cheaper!
One more problem is how to fill out those arches once fitted? WRC cars run 18"*8" Speedlines on the tarmac stages which are about £450 a pop! you'll also encounter all the problems associated with increased track width and tyre width!
The other option is to go for the "22B look" which is the way I'm gonna go! Get you're self down to scoobymania get the 22B style front spoiler and rear wing, and then off to Prodrive for a set of Speedline ST2's!!!
Cheers
