I have just bought a Blitz Dual DC Turbo Timer and was advised that it would override my alarm, so i was just wondering if anyone knew if it could be wired so that the alarm would work aswell.

What it means is whilst the engine turbo timer is in operation, it will not allow the alarm to "arm", as the voltage setting would not be able to cope with all the electrics switching on and off whilst still running. So it "delays" the alarm arming untill it switches the engine off

yeah but this defeats the object of a turbo timer as i still have to wait with the car to arm the alarm, i wanted it so i didn't have to wait with the car there must be a way round this otherwise whats the point?

I had simular problem with my Defa alarm and a HKS turbo timer. I simply cut the vire on the Defa. There is a vire that controls if the car is turned on or off, and the alarm will not be armed if the car is switched on.
