Hi, I have what I believe to be a UK Ver. 8 STi in my US 2000 RS. I was under the impression that the UK cars had lower redlines than JDM, but I have revved it to 8200rpm. I'm curious what the Ver. 8 has, I know Ver. 7 is 7750. What is fuel cut? I would think it would have kicked in before 8200. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Mine redlines @ around 7500, the fuel cut come in @just above it. If this helps.

My STi8 cuts around 7800 without any doubt... but sometimes I get above 8000 on lower gears (datalogging), might be due to inertia.
