Question

Anybody fitted a secs monitor to a P1? Do you think it's worth the price and have you had any problems with it? I'm thinking about getting one so am seeking opinions before purchasing. Cheers, Graham.

Thumbs up

I'm glad I got mine. Looks cool and works although according to the SECS I have never been over 83mph.....and I haven't honest!! It indicated I had a oil pressure drop leading me to find out I had a leaky oil filter.

Yeah mine's good as well, but I've never been over 89mph - and surely there's some mistake there, as I would never go over 70pmh anyway

Interested to see when I get my gauges fitted, how the 2 compare with readings though!

Exclamation

IIRC the SECS unit only has a problem with max recorded speed on a P1, thanx to the ECU being bodged to disable the Jap 112mph limiter. Nice one, Prodrive...

I have a pod mount on my MY99 turbo, and the shift-light connected
