Hi there,

Just got a 2001 WRX -wagon and not all that happy with the way it runs, when either hot or cold the idle is very rough, can flutuate between 400-1200 rpm, any body else experiance this.
As a result I'm looking for somebody in/arround North Wiltshire who has good experiance of tuning scoobs.
Also the inside of both back tires are well scrubbbed is this a normal with this model ?

Thanks

Mark

Wink

Has the car got an induction kit or different dumpvalve fitted ? I haven't got a MY01, but my MY99 appears to wear tyres evenly apart from the front left outside edge (the roundabout tyre)

Thanks Phill

I have a MY99 which had a similar lumpy idle. New MAF sorted it, 60 quid for the bit. Common fault on 99's not so sure about 01's. Get it sorted quick as the MAF can lean the engine too much and cause problem's like no tick over (blown engine).
