Im after their downpipe - got a price £205+vat but another £100 to fit, seems a bit pricey; is it a bitch to fit if so whats involved ( i thought it would be preety straight forward but you never know )

Yep, can be a complete bugger to fit. Also, can be an easy job, depending on how often it's done. Bolts seize, lambda probes are rusted on, etc. etc.
I'm not sure what the going rate would be (have always done it myself) but I'm not sure £100 is really that bad? £70 would be nice... can be a 3+ hour job.

There's a post in drivetrain about some guy who's struggling to get the heatshield off! Then there's the bolts, which are usually a bitch to get off clean. Then you got to trim the heatshield to get it back on.

£100? Sounds ok to me! During the recent (now closed) group buy on these fitting was offered at £70 plus VAT, so not far off.
