I have got to get me there this summer to see some racing, I forgot what a great circuit Cadwell is, and to think I only used to live 10 miles away from all that perfection. Did anyone fall off on the left hander out of the Gooseneck down to Mansfield?

Your not the first Silly Si and you won't be the last, as it sort of sneaks up on you, running down from Mansfield hard on the gas, through the little left kink, and then suddenly... HOLY CRAPOLA BATMAN. It just sucks you in like a few of the corners there do.

1 min 42 secs we were lapping in......
Fantastic day, I was on well worn road tyres for a change and lap by lap lost grip to that very quick 340R being driven very well indeed !
The Escort Cossy above running 2.2bar @ 360bhp came to me afterwards and said that the first time he'd been passed by another saloon car....he wasn't impressed

I unfortunately live in North London now but used to live in Caistor. I used to spectate at Cadwell regularly during the summer when I was still living at home. I have also marshalled there in the past, so I know the circuit intimately. The pictures are from a track day there yesterday.
Mellow, I would also like to second the fact that its nice to see Scott's old car in action. That car would make my hairs on neck stand up when I used get a ride in it. Is it much quicker with the Gems ECU?, as it used to cream everything before that. Oh and that dump valve makes me smile whenever I think about it, I never heard anything so funny, you could play tunes on it.

LOL A slug balancer and a codhead convention..... Though if your from Wrawby I'm not sure you would strictly count as a slug balancer, it may be only people from Brigg itself.

Standing joke when me and my mates were out in Brigg having a few beers was that all men from Brigg had moustaches. So when we were asked "where are you from" we'd stick our first finger across our top lips to imitate a moustache and say "I'm from Brigg me!!". Unfortunately someone did this in the Britannia pub (next to the Queens), made it look rather obvious and got a fat lip for his trouble. Not a very tolerant lot in there.
Same as people from Grimsby are codhead's, Brigg men balance slugs on their top lips and we all know what you find in Scunny.
