I have a STiIV '98.It's done just under 8k mls, and the clutch has started to slip if I floor the throttle in 4th/5th,at about 4k rpm.I'm assuming it's when torque/boost is at max'.
Have any of you uprated your clutch ?.Any recommendations.

Mark.

I've used the organic clutch plate and group N cover from PTS and have had no problem as yet. MY94 WRX with 268bhp and 270 lb/ft. Standard clutch slipped all the time.

The complete clutch (plate, cover and release bearing) was about £500 from PTS. My usual mechanic fitted the lot for £200.
