Anyone know what the actual BHP and Torque is for these cars?

What is the difference engine wise between standard and WRC

Just curious

The politically correct power figure is 300bhp as enforced by FIA. In reality though it is believed that the manufacturers have a 'Gentlemens agreement' and the cars have around 350bhp. As for the torque, well I'm only guessing but a few years ago figures of 340 pound/foot of torque so it could be higher than that, but it depends on the way the ECU is remapped for each particular event.

The WRC cars (or Group A) have a quoted maximum of 300bhp due to the fitment of a turbo restrictor. Not sure about the torque, but I bet it's going to be big as they design the engine for torque rather than power, as the max they can go to is 300bhp.

The 300bhp maximum power figure isn't enforced by the FIA. What is enforced is the use of a 32mm restrictor in the turbo. When this rule was made, none of the manufacturers could get over 300, but now, everyone has about 350bhp and close on 400 lb/ft torque
