I was looking at adding a scooby sport exhaust, down pipe and ramair filter to a MY97, resetting the ECU and switching to super unleaded....

Will I notice a real power increase from a standard MY97 on 95RON? Is it worth the money? Should I give consideration to new brakes (and, if so, any tips on which ones are good!).

Sounds good - except for the RamAir..I wouldnt put a foam filter in unless it's supported by mesh or something, the foam is liable to get sucked in by strong pressures thereby allowing air thru the sides . The ITG filter proposed by Scoobsports sounds better or the HKS foam or K&N....

The front pipes frees much pressure and this is good in a Turbo but may cause overboosting - comments on this welcomed!

Sounds like exactly what most here have and the dyno graphs have proven the gains to be had.

Maximum benefits for minimal costs. 8-)
