I am waiting till I can hear one up at Oulton Park before I go for one - not sure I want all that increased noise. But from what I have heard the perf increases are huge.

 

I echo everything AndyG wrote. Had my downpipe fitted yesterday along with ITG filter. The car, even running on 95ron, is so different. Pulls a lot lower in the rev range and lasts so much longer. yes theres more noise but its not obtrusive noise (to me anyway), plus you get to hear the turbo spinning up. Wonderful!

On my MY98 already equipped with SS back box and RamAir (now ITG), I noticed *big* increases in torque from 2500 revs, which really does make a superb difference on the road.

Along with the improved soundtrack (turbo whistle and WRC-like popping and banging) this is by far the best 300 quid I've spent on my Scooby.
