oil change

Hello,

In Holland we do the first oil change at 12.500 km

In UK they do it at 1000 mile !

Is there somebody outhere who can tell me why this is different for the same car ???

does the UK-Impreza have special oil for the firts 1000 mile !

Hello,in the UK the cars run on a thinner viscosity oil for the first 1000 miles.

thanks Mr Leigh,

I Phoned the Dutch Importer today and they said th oil in the UK is the sam eas the Dutch, when the car gets from Japan.

I think I'm doing the oilchange about 4000 km's.
