Cool

Hi ya all,

I just managed to buy a HKS Super SQV D/V off here second hand and was assured it would fit a MY 99. Unfortunately it is infact for an earlier MY (Pre 99) and won't bolt onto my intercooler.

I have tried all HKS related sites, and the majority of them are in Japanese. Anyone know where I can get the instructions for it in English ?

Can I buy the adaptor to covert my D/V from a 1421 SF001 (Pre MY 99) to a 1421 SF005 (post MY 99) as looking at the D/V it should be quite straight forward to swap the bottom bit.

Thanks Phillh

Thats all yo should need mate, you may need to make a little bracket to mount the valve, other than that it is fairly straight forward.

Enjoy, they are the best dvs available, Ive had 5!

POC or infact anyone,

Can you explain what the screw on the back of the Dumpvalve is supposed to do ? Will that alter the amount of air that vented, or vary the time ?

Thanks Phill

It will vary the point at which the air is vented, basicly wind it in and it compresses the spring, which in turn offers more resistance to the air, which in turn means it will take a higher boost letoff to make it vent..... make sense?

There are two adjustments on mine, or is the other nut simply a locking nut ?

Thanks.
