Which tyres do you recommend for maximum grip in both dry and wet?

At the risk of sounding a smart ****. Try the search facility. There are a number of interesting threads already open on this issue.

I would agree with the general comments, that the standard Brig, Pot.s are not that great, though they do seem to last forever. Be interested to see if my MY99 (arriving Monday if you believe the dealer)still sport these wondeful? tyres.

I changed to Bridgestone SO-2's last week after a couple of spins with the original potenza's. the SO-2's are much better in the dry but really come into there own in wet weather conditions,

Re David Hayes comments.

Just curious David.

By "a couple of spins" do you mean a couple of drives down the road or a couple of trouser filling, oh my god, hope there's nothing solid in the way, rotational jobs?
