I have changed the standard 16" alloys on my MY98 to 17" Racing Dynamics (professionaly fitted) The tyres remain as 205's the problem is under hard braking the car snakes from left to right. Has any one else had this problem? If so is there a cure?

Pls look into the conversion of tyres from standard 16" tires to 17" tires. Normally the tires from 205 /50 r 16 will be 215 / 40 r 17 if I am not mistaken. The profile can also be 45 series I think. Pls check with your tire shop with the conversion of tires with 17 " rims. If possible get back to me on the outcome.
