Someone told me that Supertourisimo wheels won't fit MY99 cars because of the different brakes. Does anyone know if this is correct ?

Yes, that is correct. They have produced a new wheel (called ST2 ?) which fits over the STi brake calipers fitted to the 99MY cars.

The ST" looks like the much loved Tarmac spec wheels from last years WRC cars. 6 flat spokes. Available in gold or silver.

I think both Steve Breen and Ian Cook have photos of the new wheel on their web site.

I have a set of wheels that will fit the bill. Speedline 6 spoke 17" wheels, similar pattern to those fitted to 97 spec works tarmac rally cars. Gold and not readily available in UK. Fitted with Bridgestone 215/45 ZR17 tyres. Tyres are good condition. Complete with all wheel nuts (inc. locking). No problem clearing calipers as the wheels are currently fitted to my STi. Can be seen on the car. I have yet to work out the price but drop me a line if interested.

P.S.

The wheels are identical to those at:
