I may have the opportunity to get a my96 wrx wagon, had a saloon for a couple of years before so pretty familiar with them but not too sure about the wagon,

It is a 96 wrx 5 door, has had some mods done including 4 pots etc, supposed to be 65k although no real guarantee of mileage.

Questions are really over the spec, what spec is this engine wise

what turbo, is it s td05
what power would it be as standard from the factory, are all wagons 240ps
also is abs standard, because this one doesnt seem to have it

any other pointers greatly appreciated

UK wagons up to 96 have a td05.

UK's get abs.

WRX's have td04's

Wrx's dont get abs

STI's are confusing.

David has summed them up really.

Standard WRX Wagon map Peaks to 10.5psi then drops down to 6psi rapidly.
Standard WRX saloon boost to 11.5psi and pretty much holds it to redline.

But this can be sorted ...

Thats good advice, cheers Chaps, thought the turbo looked slightly different than the TD05 on my old WRX, and will also explain the lack of ABS

So ScoobyECU would be the first port of call me thinks

If I remember right it replaced your PROVA Map. How does it compare ??
