Right then. I'm DLing EVERYTHING Impreza related from the site, from the 1993 model onwards. So far, it looks like the only turbo models covered are the bugeye and the new wrx (classic Turbo wasn't available in the US), but much of the US 2.5 model manual also relates to the UK/Euro turbo/GT. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that the details for the WRX turbo engine aren't that different to the Classic Turbo engine. I ain't that technicaly minded, so excuse me if i'm a bit off the mark.
JDM models aren't mentioned at all on the site, so no DL's available for those (unless somebody knows better )
Like I said, I'm DL'ing the whole fugging lot, so the plan is to put everything on to one CD (if it'll fit - the new 03 manual <which includes the STI> is fecking huge!!!!). So, we'll see how it goes.

Kev

I've just bought a 72 hour subscription to the Subaru USA technical DL site, and DLed all i need (manual for 00MY Impreza).
I'm on broadband, so I've got about 70.5 hours left.
Anyone else want anything?
(for a small fee, of course )

Hmm... Good point. The DLing itself doesn't take long, but sorting the files out is a little fiddly and time consuming.

How about the 96, 98, 00, bugeye and '03 models? Think this will cover it?

Can you get manuals for non-USA spec cars from the USA Subaru site then?

Like the other post please try and get everything you can, we'd all be grateful.

But on a more specific personnal note... it you could get anything to do with MY97 WRX STi3 (JDM) that would be good!

cheers, madmoog

What about a ftp.scoobynet.co.uk site? Is possible upload, by example, the services manuals? (I'm thinking in the legal issues)

Wink

How about the engine section for a 2.0l turbo engine EJ20G from a 1995 Jap WRX.

I'd gladly help finance this as I was looking at it on Wednesday night for my own use.

You won't find classic shape 2.0 turbo engine information on the US site, but some of the other information is relevant.

Well in Kev,

I'm only after the torque settings for when I re-build my engine and I'd like to think there isn't much difference in the engine settings.

I'm having problems with this - The site has been having a lot of 'down time' over the weekend, so I've not managed to get much downloaded - so far only the US Impreza 93, 94, 00, and 04 model years, and half of the 95 model year. My subs runs out sometime tomorrow, but considering the ammount of time the site has been off, I should be able to blagg another 72 hours from them. Failing that, I'll try again next weekend.
