Wink

screw driver (flat head)
basic socket & spanner set 10mm-> 17mm (think 10, 15, 17 are needed)

and a bit of swearing....

maybe a bit of heat to get some stuck bolts out ..
i suggest you soak the turbo ones in releasing oil / wd40 etc the night before..
some come off easy - some dont come off !

To remove the intercooler (makes every thing else easier) a screw driver and a 12mm socket.....or is it 14mm ??

To remove the heat shield a 10mm spanner, get a ratchet spanner as some of the nuts are hard to get to.

To remove the downpipe from the turbo a 14mm socket, again a ratchet spanner may come in usefull

To remove the down pipe from the exhaust a 12mm socket.

If you intend to put the heat shield back on you need to cut some of the back off it to make it fit. dont bother refitting the bottom part of the heat shield.
I think thats about it

Ohhhh and plenty of time...plan for 8 hours, it wont take that long but you will be amazed at how long it takes you.

I wouldn't use sockets on the downpipe nuts as they will round easier prolly best to use a spanner.....Its a bitch of a job...If you can get hold of some flat ratchet spanners they will help with the heat shield aswell coz theres not much room round the side.

2x 14mm spanners.. a 10mm spanner..

12, 17 etc wont go a miss either for others.
