Just put my scoob (MY00) through its first MOT. It passed However I was shown that the centre pipe had a slight blow, caused by a few pin head size holes. The tester suggested that these were drawing air into the system and causing the measured lambda to be a bit on the lean side (1.02). Fair enough I'm intending on putting some stainless pipes on soon anyway
The question is does 3 yrs / 40k miles seem a little short for the lifespan of the centre section or normal? I would expect to last a bit longer especially as it contains a cat which is presumably quite expensive to replace if you did want to keep the car standard.
Graz.

Fair enough, I don't live near the sea but its previous owners may have. Thanks for the info.
Doubt there's any chance of a replacement under waranty, wear and tear item an all that.
