Don't panic - it's not Knock - the knocklinks happy and green as ever.

It's the passenger door. Now, I've got an MY00 which like all good classic sounds like a bag of rusty nails when you shut the door with the window half open. And makes a strange, but less serious rattling when you close the doors.

However, last night driving home from the Flat Four meet at the Dick Turpin my car was making a shocking noise - sounded like the front passenger door - when I really pushed it round the corners...

Anyone know what it could be? First thought it might be the speaker coming lose - but it sounds fine and surley wouldn't sound very clever at all if it was out of it's bracket...?

Any ideas?? The door cards all sitting in place and nothing looks any different...

It could be a C/V JOINT
because they make a knocking noise when going around corners

I figured it out last night - it's the window!!

I wound it down and it made an AWFUL noise, back up same noise!

Opened the door to wind it all the way up and the noise has stopped, but it souds well fugg when rolling the windows down and up.

There's no marks or anything but the only thing I can think that would make the window suddenly start behaving like this is if someones tried to break in by pulling the window. Which is worrying cos she's been sitting in my car park!!!!
