I've just got my knocklink from the group buy and am having significant difficulty in getting it to do *anything* - My first question would be this - in the instructions it says that you determine the earth connection on the knock sensor by using a multimeter and establishing which terminal is connected to the body of the sensor. Neither terminal of my sensor have a connection to the body - is this right, or a buggered sensor?

Fitting is dead simple. The covered wires (brown and black I think?) go to the sensor. Doesn't matter which way round you connect them. Obviuosly you have to use the two crimping things to attach it to the female connector before you can plug that into the sensor. The two free wires are for ground and ignition switched live. Bob's yer uncle.

LED should stay on and low illuminence. I get it flashing bright when I start then goes back to being dim. Probably the noise of the starter motor.
