cossie fuel problem

hi ive got a 2wd sapphire cossie i recenty put a new fuel tank on we let the car run till the tank was empty the nput new one in there was loads **** in bottom of the old tank,since put the new tank on its been holding back like its running out fuel not all the time just comes and goes , ive had a new fuel filter on in case blocked but still the same a freind say could be water thats got in if so how do i get rid of it any ideas cheers

sounds like you have loads of crap from your old tank still in the fuel lines, use a good fuel line and injector cleaner and run a full tank of fuel through and then change the filter again.

the worst thing you can do is run an old tank to the bottom!!!
