Have above codes on MY97 STi Wagon. Have had the intermittent 24 for a while, just dropping revs to idle usually gets rid of it and I've done the carb cleaner in the Idle controller valve. Today, after a short blast along a dual c/way the CEL won't go out. Checked the codes and I suspect it's the code 33 (Vehicle speed sensor 2 not working) that's holding it on and it won't accelerate above about 4000.
Can anyone tell me where the Speed sensor is and what's the cure.

Just went out to the car to see if I could find a speed sensor where it's shown on the Saxonfields site. None to be found. I squirted carb cleaner in the idle control valve and took it up the road. The light has now gone out.
So the question is, is there a speed sensor on this car? If there is, what purpose does it perform as there's no cruise and it's not auto. Could it be a spurious code from the ECU?
