how the heckity-heck do you get an A Pillar gauge to stay put?
tried most things and come the morning its hanging on the dash again

Glued mine in place with one of those glue guns and clear sticks. I wanted some black sticks but couldn't find any so the clear stuff isn't "clear", its quite visible against the carbon fibre.

Allows the pod to be pulled off without damage to trim but needs old trail of glue pulled off and started again.
