Blitz SBC iiD boost controller.

Following on from my previous thread, I fitted a Blitz boost controller and following the instructions set up the boost at its weakest setting, ( or so I thought ). On the first run, remember I'm being careful here as it has just been fitted, the revs reached 4500 then went through the roof!! Peak boost....1.71 bar! or 25psi. I was only expecting 1.2 at the most, stating the obvious I know but I must of gone wrong in the set up somewhere.
Disconnected it now and peak has gone back down to 1.08 peak.
The thing that got me in all of the 5 minutes I had driving it with the boost controller was the lack of low down grunt until about 4000 when it took off! Like a two stroke bike.
I know its back to the drawing board with the set up but anyone got any thoughts?

Cheers

Ive

For roughly 1.2Bar you need a 15 gain setting and 60 for the boost (wastegate duty cycle) setting.

George.
