BTTT because I am having this very problem - reads a constant 150 degrees.
Absolute Shower, did you ever get it sorted, and if so how?
Was it like XtremeScoobies said, you need to put a resistor in? If so, how the **** do you do that? not an electronics expert, me! )
If any of the Psi3 boys are out there I would love your help!!! Simon, am probably going to shoot you over an email later if I can't find a solution after a bit more searching. (And yes, if you remember (which you probably don't its been so long!!, I bought the thing months ago only just got round to getting these fitted!!!!)
regards
John.

I've just installed the oil temp sensor to me XXX monitor. It first had a reading of 150deg constant but then I changed the wires over and it now reads about 80 deg. The strange thing is it doesn't go below about 77 deg even when engine cold...that sound right? The Coolant temp reads correctly, but not oil temp when cold.

Should read a constant 50 degrees C from cold and progressively up to low 100s depending how hard you push the engine. Get them to check you have been supplied with the latest circuit board.

Need to check what colour board you have either (green or blue) if it is one colour you need to put a resistor across 2 of the pin numbers to get a reading.
From your comments you may have the early board where you need to use the resistor to get the correct readings

Guys...yeh me problem with oil temp was sorted. I checked the sensor using an ohms meter and it gave no reading. Checked the cables...and they were fine. Had the sensor changed by PSI no probs and it all works. 50deg start, upto around 85-92 norm temp.
