Question

I am just enquiring to see if anyone has had problems passing the MOT emissions test after modifictions to their engine e.g more fuel, air and boost increases etc. With increasing these factors I assume the emisions will increase so is the standard cat sufficient enough ? if not how have people got around this.

Any info will be appreciated

Gavin

My Scoo has been de cated so wasn't looking forward to emissions test on the mot last month, to my surprise the mot tester by - passed the emissions and gave me a ticket, without even checking emissions or anything! I didn't say a word and left the mot centre happy as it flew through the rest of the mot.

Gavin.. As long as the car set up is good, the cats will cater for the average engine mod with no problem.
